Cliffords Taxidermy is located in central New York, south of US Route 20 in the county of Otsego,town of New Lisbon. We are about 20 minutes from Cooperstown and around 25 minutes from Oneonta.We perform all phases of taxidermy. From deer heads to bear heads, from bass mounts to lake trout mounts, from small game mounts to bird mounts. All tanning is done on site using the latest technologies and modern methods of animal hide tanning known today. Your deer hide stays in the shop from start to finish. We have been in business for over 12 years and have been able to provide quality taxidermy at competitive prices. We are currently licensed by the US Fish & Wildlife Service to practice commercial taxidermy. We also belong to the New York State Taxidermy Association along with the National Taxidermy Association.Our techniques and skill level meets the national standard set for taxidermists. When mounting animals, fish and or birds we only use the best materials offered from companies such as McKenzie, Van Dykes, WASCO and Research Manikins. Cliffords Taxidermy is also in the business, of reconditioning, refurbishing and remounting old taxidermy specimens such as fish and deer. If you have an old mount that needs help, call us today.
