Over 70 different mounts, including life-size mounts, head mounts and birds from several states were on display. The biggest mount at this year`s show was a 9 foot, life-size mount of an Alaskan Brown Bear. Taxidermists say seeing other displays is a good way to learn more about the art form.
"Taxidermy is an art form and well represented. The purpose of our show is through seminars, education. We`re teaching taxidermists how to be better taxidermists," said Randy Holler, the President of the North Dakota Taxidermy Association.
